A. Fagundes Plumbing & Heating Inc. is a small, family-oriented business looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and motivated service dispatcher coordinator to join our dynamic home comfort team.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering a positive first impression that encourages repeat business. This person will also be relied on to convert incoming client calls into booked appointments and dispatch technicians as needed to deliver top-notch service in the field.

Growth and success in our thriving, often fast-paced, office will require a strong work ethic and a proverbial backbone. Additionally, excellent multi-tasking, organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential.

The tasks and responsibilities associated with this position include:

• Scheduling service appointments
• Providing appointment status updates and next day reminders
• Dispatching technicians as needed
• Assisting the office manager with credit card and invoice reconciliation
• Assisting with other support duties as need
• Performing the company’s marketing activities, including planning and coordinating home shows and other marketing and PR events
• Creating and managing social media and other marketing content
• Creating prospect lists
• Cold calling prospects
• Following up with leads and managing prospect pipeline
• Setting leads and appointments
• Creating social media ads and posts
• Managing online reviews
• Managing Angie’s List, Home Advisor, and other lead generation activities

The job requirements and desired skills for this position are:

• High school education or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Appointment setting experience is preferred
• HVAC and plumbing trade experience is preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is helpful
